I hold degrees in philosophy from Harvard and Georgetown, where I studied abstract issues in moral philosophy and concrete problems in the ethics of emerging technologies like AI. As an academic, I also co-founded Georgetown’s Ethics Lab, a social innovation lab focused on problems in practical ethics and helped launch one of its first major forays into digital learning.

It was my honor to lead the Learning teams at 2U | edX, a group of creative rebels working at the intersection of learning science, product design, and learning experience innovation. Check out some of our work here, a legacy of research and thought work in the service of educational access worldwide.

I’m proud to lead the Learning, Standards, and Publications teams at the Project Management Institute (PMI), the global authority in project management, committed to advancing the project management professions through our growing global community, knowledge sharing, and best-in-class certifications—driving positive change in organizations and communities.
I am occasionally invited to speak about my work in learning design and vision for where ed tech, design thinking, and educational access in general are heading. Recent engagements include a masterclass at Web Summit in Lisbon, an interview in the Chronicle of Higher Education and a plenary presentation on generative AI at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Impact Strategy. LinkedIn is the best place to find any upcoming public engagements, and you can learn more about my background and goals on my CV.
Interested in collaborating on a strategy, ethics, or education project — or just want to say hi? Get in touch! I’ve consulted for a variety of clients, within and outside of the nonprofit and education spaces. Find me on LinkedIn to start a conversation.
